Why is Alpaca Fibre so Special?
It is second only to silk for strength, as luxurious and soft as cashmere yet more durable than both.
Alpaca fibre is hollow which makes it incredibly lightweight and keeps you warm in the Winter yet cool in the Summer. Therefore, if you or you know someone else who always has cold feet, alpaca socks could be the answer!
It is smoother than wool which means it has a low prickle factor and will not give you an ‘itchy’ wool feeling.
Alpaca has no lanolin which gives it great hypoallergenic qualities and makes it ideal for sensitive skins.
It is a natural antibacterial fibre which means you can wear a pair of socks for weeks (if you want to) and they will not smell!
Alpacas are many colours from white through fawn, brown, black and greys. There are 22 recognised colours with various shades in between.
Gift Wrapping
All of our items forwarded to you by first class post will be wrapped in soft, cream tissue paper as standard. If your order is a gift for someone, for only £2 extra, why not choose the luxury wrapping option. The item will still be wrapped in the soft, cream tissue paper but will then be wrapped in a natural style, making it suitable for both men and women, with raffia and a tag for you to complete.
